Antonio José Piñeros aka Semitone is one of the few Drum n Bass DJ/Producers from Bogotá, Colombia where he is part of a collective initiative to promote Drum & Bass in Colombia known as RE.SET. He produces music spanning tempos from 170 BPM to 125, where he has had some releases under various names. Elements are: (in no particular order) Korg volca drums, bass and synth, a moog minitaur, a boss dr202 groovebox, and three of my own reaktor instruments in ableton, consosting of two drum samplers (as layers of one pattern), and a loop manipulator (used somewhat mudanely as a simple breakbeat layer). |
