Randomly threw this on today after not having listened to it in many years and I'm happy to say it stands the test of time so I decided to share it here. It's the second dubstep mix I ever recorded, back in late spring or early summer of 2006 after being introduced to the genre around March of that year. Contains a few original bits including my first 140bpm production which would eventually be titled 'Skeletonia'. 'Yes Yes Yes' was a rough cut that sampled the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and 'Ether Dub' was an ambient rework of a drum & bass tune I previously made called 'Big Water'. I also included in this mix a couple of edits I did, one of the mighty 'Anti-War Dub' and the other of a Van Morrison track I've always liked. The edits were essentially just to make the tracks mixable in a different way than they are usually heard. There are some unreleased gems from producers Tom Waterfall (Krusada), Ballistics, and This One. They were just some of the many bedroom producers and established artists sharing their music online in the early days, whether on Dubstepforum or Torontojungle. Last but not least there is plenty of vinyl, including original presses of now-classic tracks by Loefah, Burial, and others, and from my CD collection a remix of an M83 tune that I threw in for the hell of it. This mix was one of the highest-ranked on Barefiles for some time, for those of you who remember those days. Out to Deapoh. Enjoy!
