Marley Reville Brown is a Multidisciplinary Artist;
Vocalist, Songwriter, Performer, Composer, Dancer, Visual Artist, Photographer, Herbalist and Astrologer.
Born and raised in Toronto, Marley has been recording independently since 2012 in a home studio.
Performing under the stage name “MARLEY”, the musical style is a hybrid fusion that pulls inspiration from genres such as World Music, Psychedelic, Dub, Downtempo, Trip Hop, Acid Jazz, Bossa Nova, Lofi and Lounge.
Marley’s vocal style is evocative and ethereal, layering deep bellowing lows with airy, feather-light highs. The result is a mysterious, exaggerated composite sound that syncs with deliberate and positional lyrics. With narratives that aggressively hover and drift - “hummingbirding” - through hope for healing. For nature, love, dreaming and spiritual enunciation/annunciation through the mystical medium of music.
